Learning Outcomes of the Curricular Unit:
1. Demonstrate knowledge of the fundamentals and functions of artistic expressions, in children and adolescents.
2. Demonstrate knowledge about plastic expression as a form of development and communication, in children and adolescents.
3. Demonstrate knowledge about musical expression as a form of development and communication, in children and adolescents.
4. Demonstrate knowledge about dramatic expression as a form of development and communication, in children and adolescents.
5. Demonstrate knowledge about physical-motor expression as a form of development and communication, in children and adolescents.
Syllabus:
1. Fundamentals and functions of the various artistic expressions: 1.1. The practice of expressions and their importance in contemporary societies.
1.2. Creativity, Art and Psychoanalysis (The use of artistic expressions to accompany children and adolescents.)
2 - Art as a form of expression and communication:
Human Movement
3 - Dance therapy. Movement as a form of behavior. Physical-motor activity as a form of expression and communication in children and adolescents.
4 - Musical Expression: Music Therapy. Music as a form of expression and communication in children and adolescents
5 - Plastic expressions: The different supports, materials and techniques of plastic expression
6 - Dramatherapy:. Representation as a form of expression and communication in children and adolescents
7 - Promotion of social skills
Demonstration of the Syllabus Coherence with the Curricular Unit's Objectives:
Acquisition and integration of knowledge that allows the framing of learning and activities that enhance the development of children and adolescents with special needs

Demonstration of the Coherence between the Teaching Methodologies and the Learning Outcomes:
Acquisition and integration of knowledge that allows the framing of motor and psychomotor development in the professional practice of the physiotherapist; Acquisition and development of analysis, synthesis and integration of methods, techniques, concepts, models, theories and methodologies applied to assessment and intervention throughout the life cycle of children with special needs.
