Learning Outcomes of the Curricular Unit: | |||
Study and analysis of constructive systems aiming to provide the student with the necessary knowledge to understand the material, functional and organic dimension of a building; Test, in the form of a project, various constructive situations, rehearsing solutions, systems and reference models. Thus, based on the information provided, the bibliography and the research carried out, the student should detail a building to the real scale; Idealize and test integrated constructive solutions, including structural, infrastructural and architectural options for the complete construction of a building; Idealize and design constructive solutions for the exterior and interior of a building, namely employing, with an up to date knowledge, systems based in roofs, walls and floors. | |||

The programmatic content aims to introduce the subjects of the project of execution arousing the student to the need of a rationalization that confers consistency between idea and proposal, based on logic, rigor and the pursuit of the stated objectives. The sought coherence is based on the organizational matrix of the set of practical exercises of project that transfer to the student the contents of the program through its manipulation. | |||
Teaching Methodologies (Including Evaluation): | |||
The "practical classes" prioritize the referral of the student, especially in the execution of the proposed exercises, so that it achieves the objectives of this curricular unit. The student should expose the development of his works, fostering, in this way, moments of criticism, dialogue and collective reflection. Theoretical classes should substantiate and support the practical classes through a brief exposition of the subjects and themes associated with them. The knowledge and skills acquired by the student will be synthesized in graphic, written and oral exposition, as well as in the presentation / debate related to four evaluation moments in the dates to be scheduled. | |||

Cognitive and motivational abilities are determining factors in the achievement and attainment of the curricular objectives as well as the metacognitive processes that coordinate the cognitive capacities, reason why one of the basic principles of the discipline of Systems of Construction in Architecture II is that the process based on self-criticism and in practice is the means by which one arrives at the construction/execution project. | |||
