Learning Outcomes of the Curricular Unit:
This discipline aims to provide theoretical and practical skills to the students in such a way they can plan and execute prostethic treatments in an integrated way with other dental specialties. Oral Rehabilitation is a basic dental specialty and includes areas like aesthetics, function and laboratory techniques that the student must dominate, so he can be prepared to plan and execute a prosthodontic treatment. This discipline includes a pre-clinical and clinical component, in which are executed fixed and removable techniques and treatments applying the theoretical knowledge assimilated.

The student will be able to apply in the clinical component all the theoretical and laboratory skills that he learned in the previous disciplines (Prostondontia I and II). The theoretical component will initiate the student in the field of Fixed Prosthodontics, and the laboratory component will allow him to apply the mechanical and biological principles involved in the fabrication of a fixed prosthesis.
Teaching Methodologies (Including Evaluation):
The type of evaluation will be continuous. The theoretical component will be evaluated trough a written test. The clinical evaluation will be based in the specific criteria that will be transmitted to the students. Each evaluation will have a quoficcient: -1/3 theoretical evaluation -1/3 laboratory evaluation -1/3 clinica evaluation. In each component the student must have a minimum classification of 10.
