Learning Outcomes of the Curricular Unit:
Effect the situation diagnosis with the assessment of the severity of the risks, in a work context;
• Propose measures / strategies of prevention against the diagnosis made;
• Suggest the implementation of training / information and education processes that contribute to the continuous improvement of the Nursing Work practice;
• Incorporate the results, in processes of change that contribute to the innovation of Work Nursing;
• Discuss Project Work
Skills:
• Applies the risk assessment approach to the site to be evaluated;
• Carries out the situation diagnosis with the assessment of the severity of the detected risks;
• Projects proposals, strategies to eliminate or minimize the risks identified and the implementation of good practices;
• Proposes opportunities for continuous improvement;
• Suggests health education programs for the health and well-being of workers;
Syllabus:
1 Production of Project Work that includes the phases of Risk Management, in work context;
2. Presentation and discussion of the Project Work.
Demonstration of the Syllabus Coherence with the Curricular Unit's Objectives:
It is intended that the contents developed throughout the CU, train the students with practical knowledge in matters of Safety and Health at work. It will contribute to the complementarity of knowledge inherent in the practice of Nursing at Work.
Teaching Methodologies (Including Evaluation):
The curricular unit will be developed based on the bibliographical research, analysis, discussion and critical reflection on the theme selected by each trainee.
In this UC, the students will elaborate an Intervention Project, based on the diagnosis of the situation elaborated in the work context.
Continuous evaluation will consist of preparation of an Intervention Project carried out in Group, presentation and discussion, weighting 70 for the written part and 30% for the oral presentation.
Demonstration of the Coherence between the Teaching Methodologies and the Learning Outcomes:
In order to meet the stated objectives, the methodologies to be used in this CU will focus on the practical context, interactive methodologies, involving students in the process of teaching learning in a real context, focused on the management of risks in the workplace.
