Learning Outcomes of the Curricular Unit:
1- It is important that students get knowledges and capacities of understanding at a level of 1º cycle;
2- Get knowledges for promlems resolution in new situations olike crime and violence;
3- Have capacity to integrate knowledges about complex issues, like crime and vitimization.
4- Have capacity to communicate their conclusions to everybody
5-Have capacity to develope skills of learning to their life span.
Syllabus:
At this level of knowledge the students must know crime penalties, security processes in case of violent behavior against aged people, women, and child. Courts´s function and laws are important, and also the intervention of police corps.
Demonstration of the Syllabus Coherence with the Curricular Unit's Objectives:
Its important to note that the principals mediuns to solve criminals problems are explained in sociologicals terms. So its main source of knowledge must be understood using all skills about child abuse, elder abuse, gender abuse and all dispositions of law like courts, police, prisions.
Teaching Methodologies (Including Evaluation):
To give a good introduction in this discipline, there will be present expositive classes, and pratical ones.With reading of classics and scientific journals. A mid term evaluation must be donne and a groupal work about the main subjects.
Demonstration of the Coherence between the Teaching Methodologies and the Learning Outcomes:
The main methodologies will be magistral classes and pratical aplication of knowledge with the help of cases from newpapers and other sources. So in this particular case this is the major way to give some knowledge and new skills in this academic level.
