Learning Outcomes of the Curricular Unit:
The aim of this course is to train the student in understanding, application and interpretation of analytical methods of quantitative and qualitative data. At the end of the semester the student should know and be able to apply and interpret quantitative data analysis techniques and qualitative.
Specifically:
a) Know the characteristics, potencialities and limitations os quantitative and qualitative methodologies and their basic principles.
b) Analyse critically different methods of data collection.
c) Apply different quantitative and qualitativa data analysis techniques and comunicate results for a especialized professionals.

Demonstration of the Syllabus Coherence with the Curricular Unit's Objectives:
This course's contents were selected based on their empirical validity, applicability and relevance to the field. The inclusion of diverse approaches provides students with a comprehensive perspective of the actual scope of this field. Hence, the course contents provide students with a solid, comprehensive, up to date and empirically valid basis to build their knowledge on, encouraging further research as well as the application of the presented theoretical models.
Teaching Methodologies (Including Evaluation):
Teaching methodologies are based on theoretical exposition of contents and practical exercises. Knowledge assessment include the development of research about a topic (100% of final grade each).
Demonstration of the Coherence between the Teaching Methodologies and the Learning Outcomes:
The teaching methods are theoretical-practical classes, including (1) explanation and debate of relevant theoretical concepts; (2) demonstration of the practical application of those concepts; and (3) guidance of autonomous study by the students, consulting the recommended references.
