Learning Outcomes of the Curricular Unit:
To enable students with practical experience and theoretical knowledge that will allow them to attend an internship at Agência Lusa. During this course students will learn journalistic investigation technics and how to analyze informative data from several sources. They will acquire the skills to produce independent journalistic works.

Demonstration of the Syllabus Coherence with the Curricular Unit's Objectives:
All these contents question the roll of the sources on their actual media context, relate the investigation with journalistic genres and analyze real cases. By doing so, they will know how to get information and how to relate with the sources, as well as data processing acquiring the necessary tools to create news.
Teaching Methodologies (Including Evaluation):
Continuous evaluation will gather both presentation and discussion of practical works both written and oral.
Demonstration of the Coherence between the Teaching Methodologies and the Learning Outcomes:
Students will be given real case situations to be worked out together with professional journalists, having in mind the ethical, social and political consequences of their work.
