Learning Outcomes of the Curricular Unit:
It is our goal in this Criminal Law II, to acquaint students with the major themes of the general criminal law, the special part of the Penal Code, to allow them to gain the proper perspective for understanding its structure, evolution over time and its basic principles, in order to master conceptually the legal terrain where it will preferentially move criminology. Types of crime are addressed in their specialty, taking into account the legal interests concerned.
Syllabus:
1. The Penal Law, the essential concepts, principles and systematization. The criminal legal system.
2. A special part of the code: the crimes and the legal as well: Crimes against people. Crimes against property. Crimes against cultural identity and personal integrity. Crimes against life in society. crimes against the state. Crimes against animals.
3. Other types of crime in particular law
Demonstration of the Syllabus Coherence with the Curricular Unit's Objectives:
Section 1 of syllabus introduces the necessary understanding of the importance of criminal law, the principle of criminal law, the integral elements of the crime as unlawful, guilt, shame concepts and problems that may arise as a review of concepts. Section 2 discusses the types of crime provided for in the Special Part of the Penal Code, taking into account the legal interests that intended guardian, person, property, society, the state, the animals. Section 3 discusses some crimes defined in separate legislation or extravagant and worth implementing. Its application in different situations: selection and measurement.
Teaching Methodologies (Including Evaluation):
The teaching methodology will include theoretical lectures, and discussion of case studies of specific references and thematic discussions and critical reflections. The evaluation will be in two tests with a weighting of 50% each.
Demonstration of the Coherence between the Teaching Methodologies and the Learning Outcomes:
Unit 1 Lectures for characterizing the content area of ??operation; Presentation and handling of the legislation; Individual and group discussion of cases for different issues that constitute legal requests; statements; Practical in order to demonstrate knowledge and skills to perform tasks criminal matters dominate the main legal technical exercises; Unit 2 - Theoretical analysis of content; Presenting real cases (anonymous); Application of labor law to specific cases; Demonstrate the capability of oral and written communication of the contents; Show autonomy and responsible conduct in law enforcement Unit 3.
