|1. Integrate methods, concepts, models, theories and knowledge in the area of research methodology; 2. Integrate the theoretical knowledge, the different techniques used in research in a way applicable to concrete situations; 3. Select appropriate methods and techniques. 4. Collect and organize information, select relevant bibliography and read critically and comprehensively; 5. Improve oral and written communication skills; 6. To develop a critical and self-critical attitude as well as to adopt ethical and deontological values. The CU aims to promote the ability to integrate knowledge, deal with complex issues, develop solutions or make judgments in situations of limited or incomplete information , including reflections on the ethical and social implications and responsibilities that result or condition these solutions and judgments.|

|UL1 - The programmatic contents are aimed at: Integrate concepts, models, theories and knowledge inherent in research; Integrate knowledge, skills and abilities into a technical and ethical action; UL2 - The programmatic contents are aimed at: to integrate concepts and knowledge about the different methodologies; select and apply appropriate research methods and techniques; UL3 - The programmatic contents aim to achieve: To promote the capacity to collect and organize information; Foster a critical and understanding reading; Reveal oral and written communication skills. Students should develop the ability to collect, select and interpret relevant information, particularly in their area of ??study, to enable them to base their solutions and the judgments they make, including in analyzing relevant scientific and ethical social aspects; develop skills that allow them to communicate information, ideas, problems and solutions, both to specialists and non-specialists.|
|Teaching Methodologies (Including Evaluation):|
|Theoretical classes interspersed with classes of an eminently practical nature; Assessment through two short practical assignments (10% + 10%) Elaboration of a proposal for a research project (80%). Thus, students are expected to demonstrate the ability to integrate knowledge, deal with complex issues, develop solutions or make judgments in situations of limited or incomplete information, including reflections on the ethical and social implications and responsibilities that result in or condition these solutions and judgments.|
|Demonstration of the Coherence between the Teaching Methodologies and the Learning Outcomes:|
|UL1- Theoretical exposition of contents characterizing the research methodologies and paradigms; Individual and group discussion of theoretical concepts; Practical exercises with the objective of integrating knowledge, skills and abilities for a technical and ethical action. UL2 - Theoretical exposition of contents to characterize the different research methods; Practical exercises with the aim of integrating the theoretical knowledge and the different techniques used in research in a way applicable to the concrete situation. UL 3 - Theoretical exposition of contents necessary to carry out the empirical phase of an investigation; Oral presentation of research report with the aim of integrating acquired theoretical and practical knowledge and of revealing oral and written communication skills in an investigation; Show autonomy and responsible conduct in research. The teaching methodology aims so that the students know how to apply the knowledge and have the ability to understand and solve problems, even in new and unfamiliar situations, and in broad and multidisciplinary contexts, although related with their area of ??study.|
