This contact will allow the acquisition of skills related to the recognition of clinical supervision as an organizational tool for continuous improvement of the quality of nursing care.
Teaching Methodologies (Including Evaluation):
The unit develops in contact hours and in the autonomous working time of the student and is organized in theoretical classes.
The teaching-learning strategies that will be used in this UC are based on the principle of active participation of students centred on the student's thought and reflection processes.
The acquisition of knowledge will be complemented with consultation of scientific literature, since students will be encouraged to carry out research in order to gather the contents to support the study.
Structured in theoretical classes, and tutored orientation, the UC will allow moments of self-learning, privileging interactive methods of analysis and group discussion.
The evaluation includes the elaboration of a group work on one of the themes proposed during the teaching sessions and the oral presentation, whose weighting is as follows:
- Elaboration of a group work - 70%
- Oral Presentation - 30%.
Demonstration of the Coherence between the Teaching Methodologies and the Learning Outcomes:
In a first stage, the need to analyse and reflect on new concepts implies the use of expository and interrogative methods. In a second phase, the demonstration of examples enables the acquisition of indispensable knowledge about the potential impact of clinical supervision in Nursing on organizational processes in health. Case studies enable the consolidation of reflexive skills about the potential barriers and difficulties related to the implementation of sound supervision models in clinical practice contexts.
