Learning Outcomes of the Curricular Unit:
Recognition of the role of social responsibility in the promotion of organizational sustainability; Identification of the main instruments of corporate social responsibility and identify the principles of their application; preparation of the students to actively promote and participate in the integration of the concepts of sustainability and social responsibility in organizational management.

Demonstration of the Syllabus Coherence with the Curricular Unit's Objectives:
The syllabus promotes the acquisition of knowledge regarding the concepts of Social Responsibility in organizational context, promoting contact with the main CSR instruments applied in professional practice.
Teaching Methodologies (Including Evaluation):
The teaching methodologies are mainly expositive, interrogative and demonstrative. Case-studies are frequently used, aiming to enhance the interpretation and correct application of theoretical knowledge.
The evaluation is continuous, through the practical application of knowledge during classes, in individual or group assignments, and through a final individual test.
Demonstration of the Coherence between the Teaching Methodologies and the Learning Outcomes:
This curricular unite explores the concepts of Social Responsibility and their importance in organizational context. Attention will be given to the main motivations and difficulties for its implementation. The main reference standards regarding CSR are studied, with the purpose to enable students in promoting CSR and performing its integration in organizational management. . Several case-studies are analyzed, regarding successful CSR practices, with the purpose to demonstrate the viability and practical interest in promoting CSR.
