Learning Objectives:
1. Know the structure and requirements of ISO 45001: 2018;
2. Know how to interpret and implement the requirements of the Health and Safety Management System at Work, ISO 45001: 2008;
3. Be able to contribute to the implementation, certification and maintenance of OSH management systems in an organization.
Teaching Methodologies (Including Evaluation):
The teaching-learning methodology is expositive, demonstrative and participatory during theoretical-practical classes. It is used the analysis and discussion of concrete examples, in order to interpret and apply the theoretical-practical knowledge acquired in real situations. Practical assignments are offered, either for group presentation or individually.
The evaluation of this course unit is carried out continuously during the lessons and includes the following assessment components:
1. Written tests of individual evaluation
2. Practical work for individual elaboration
3. Practical work for group elaboration
4. Attitudes: Participate actively in carrying out tasks and / or discussing cases study, ability to work independently and cooperation in group work.
Demonstration of the Coherence between the Teaching Methodologies and the Learning Outcomes:
The expository and demonstrative methodologies used, presenting real examples and statistical data related to occupational safety and health, allows to know the importance of OSH SG and the benefits of OSH SG certification Goals: 1. Know the importance of the OSH management system and its certification; 2. Identify the benefits of certification of an OSH management system The expository, demonstrative and participatory methodology used, using real examples, consultation, analysis and discussion of documentation, applicable legislation and the realization and practical work allows knowing, knowing how to interpret and implement the requirements of the Occupational Health and Safety Management System. Goals: 3. Know the structure and requirements of ISO 45001: 2018; The expository methodology used allows to know the structure and the requirements of the reference ISO 45001: 2018 4.
