Learning Outcomes of the Curricular Unit:
At the end of this Curricular Unit students should be able to: 1 - Develop knowledge and skills in the implementation of a management system according to the standard for accreditation of laboratories - ISO 17025:2017 2- Interpret and implement the Laboratory Accreditation standard 3- Identification, interpretation and application, aiming at accreditation, of the general requirements of competence for performing tests specified in ISO 17025:2017

Demonstration of the Syllabus Coherence with the Curricular Unit's Objectives:
The themes of the programme are structured according to a logic sequence in order to allow a progressive understanding of the students knowledge.
The programme is structured in order to allow the students to acquire the necessary and required competence to understnad and acquire the knowledge essential to understanding the requirements ISO 17025:2017.
Teaching Methodologies (Including Evaluation):
Oral presentation, individual and work group, case studies.
Evaluation system: continuous, one test and one work (test : 70%, work: 30 %)
Demonstration of the Coherence between the Teaching Methodologies and the Learning Outcomes:
The individual and group work will allow students to analyse ISO 17025 standard and interpret its requirements as well as their application to real life situations.
