In Unit II, markedly practical, there is a theoretical exposition of the constructive management of conflicts, as well as training of competences of constructive management of conflicts in multiple contexts.
In Unit III there is a theoretical exposition of the main concepts about negotiation and practical skills in this process, namely in the different negotiation processes.
In Unit IV the theoretical exposition of the main concepts about the main cognitive processes present in the negotiation and in the mediation is made.
In Unit V there is both theoretical exposition about mediation as a form of alternative resolution of conflicts and presentation of the practical skills involved in the process of mediation in several areas related to the exercise of architecture and urbanism.
Teaching Methodologies (Including Evaluation):
Two written tests (50% + 50%)
Demonstration of the Coherence between the Teaching Methodologies and the Learning Outcomes:
The proposed methodologies are consistent with the objectives formulated for the curricular unit since they focus on the development of the oriented study, so that students apply knowledge and demonstrate a capacity for understanding about the conflict, its constructive management, negotiation and mediation and its application in the area of architecture and urbanism. On the other hand, students are expected to be able to select the different techniques of constructive conflict management in different areas, demonstrating that they are able to apply the acquired theoretical knowledge to practical cases. It seeks to establish a parallelism between theory and practice applied to real problems, thus contributing to develop the student's capacity for a critical and self-critical attitude.
