Learning Outcomes of the Curricular Unit:
The challenge of professional practice is a fundamental step towards the preparation of an architect. During the probationary period, students will have the opportunity of directly interacting with various practical aspects of their chosen profession. However, they always maintain their link with their University by means of their "training adviser." By the time they "return" to their University, students can compare their experience with their academic learning, especially when it comes to the development of their "final draft" or their dissertation
Syllabus:
Content: - Administrative process of a company / office / entity that develops activities specific to the architect's profession; - The process; - The project; - The work; - Team work;
Demonstration of the Syllabus Coherence with the Curricular Unit's Objectives:
The academic internship in companies, offices or other public or private entities that is developing activities inherent to the profession of the architect, in the context of a professional experience will demonstrate the articulation of the disciplinary contents with the professional life

It is intended that students test the application of their academic knowledge in processes of professional experience. This process will allow an assessment of the tutor and a self-assessment of the student.
