Demonstration of the Syllabus Coherence with the Curricular Unit's Objectives:
With the scope of preparing students in the field of surveying the theoretical and practical concepts are addressed: analyzing a topographic plan, interpretation of a topographic network and understanding of systems such as GPS and photogrammetry.
In terms of the practical component a leveling and a topographic surveying are carried out allowing the students to have contact with equipment used in surveying.
Teaching Methodologies (Including Evaluation):
Theoretical
Two written tests (T1 and T2) without consultation about all the program.
T = T1 (0,50) + T2 (0,50)
Practical:
-A practical work (TrP), in groups of 2 or 3 elements, delivered at the end of the semester.
-A written test (TeP)
TP = TrP (0,70) + TeP (0,30)
The final mark is given in a scale between 0 and 20 to the theoretical part and a in a scale between 0 and 20 to the practical part.
At the practical part there isn't the possibility to do final exam.
Demonstration of the Coherence between the Teaching Methodologies and the Learning Outcomes:
It is intended to provide the students of the theoretical-practical knowledge doing academic exercises but always based in real scenarios. The practical component gives the students the possibility of being in contact with the techniques and with the topographic equipment in a real survey.
