Learning Outcomes of the Curricular Unit:
1. To integrate basic theoretical and theoretical-practical knowledge of the area.
2. To master the process of analysis and classification of communication, language, speech and swallowing disorders in adults and children.
3 To become autonomous and automatic in the day-to-day practice of the speech and language therapist.
4 To know how to build and analyse a protocol of anamnesis and assessment of the disorders mentioned above.
5 To develop, in a context of real work situation, a therapeutical processes for the clinical cases being followed.
Syllabus:
The student will have clinical practice I with different patients in the University clinic or in a institution that collaborates with the University.

The programatic contents (PC) were delineated in terms of Learning Goals (LG) of the course. So,
PC1 corresponds to LG1-5
CP1 focus on the knowledge and competences to develop case studies, based on real patients followed in the clinic.
Teaching Methodologies (Including Evaluation):
- Supervised practice.
- Technical resources, including multimedia.
- Assessment, analysis and therapy with real cases.
Assessment: continuous. Final Notebook.
Demonstration of the Coherence between the Teaching Methodologies and the Learning Outcomes:
Since the course consists of practical lessons, the teaching methods used fall within the best procedures used in this area. The development of knowledge and skills of this course will be conducted through an ongoing review of learning, tutored and supported by joint reflection and practice in the pedagogical clinic.
