Learning Outcomes of the Curricular Unit:
Demonstration of knowledge and understanding of the area studied, which translates the execution, interpretation and evaluation of imaging tests and its application to diagnosis and treatment. Prescribing standards imaging techniques and use of more sophisticated techniques for imaging study of craniofracial structures.

Ortopantomography / Digital Radiography / Radiation Protection in Dental Radiology/ Radiographic Differential Diagnosis / Radiographic Interpretation / Periapical Tissue Imaging / Developmental Anomalies /Computed Tomography / Cone Beam Computed Tomography / Magnetic Resonance Imaging / Imaging in Implantology
Demonstration of the Syllabus Coherence with the Curricular Unit's Objectives:
The syllabus contents are consistent with the learning objectives in this curricular unit insofar as they allow for the acquisition of knowledge and the development of clinical skills which are required for all tasks involving intraoral imaging activities.
Teaching Methodologies (Including Evaluation):
The student will be considered approved if the final classification is equal or higher than 10 (ten) values. The final classification results from the 50% T and 50% TP. There is no need for a minimum grade for each component.
Demonstration of the Coherence between the Teaching Methodologies and the Learning Outcomes:
Teaching methods have been developed to become the most effective and direct, allowing a teacher-student interaction more effective, for the acquisition of knowledge and core competencies in the daily practice of a specialist in dentistry.
