The syllabus content of this discipline was elaborated in order to transmit knowledge of Periodontics and having as objectives to obtain: Ability to prepare treatment plans for Periodontal Disease, with non-surgical and surgical components. . Knowledge of the different techniques of periodontal regeneration. . Ability to distinguish the objectives that govern each technique, as well as its indications and contraindications. . Understanding the relationships between Periodontics and other areas of Dental Medicine. Ability to apply this knowledge. | |||

The student's knowledge will be certified through an assessment of the theoretical-practical and clinical knowledge in the following percentage: 50% theoretical-practical note and 50% assessment of the clinical work developed with patients. | |||
Demonstration of the Coherence between the Teaching Methodologies and the Learning Outcomes: | |||
The dates of the test and the presentation of the works will be scheduled by the Department, and the student must attend 15 minutes before beginning. The exam and the test will consist of multiple-choice questions and quick-response questions. The tests will last for 1 hour.
