|It is intended to give students the tools that will help in the acquisition of diagnoses that they will come to realize in the course of their learning and practical application. The mental gymnastics to achieving those diagnostics begins with the mobility of knowledge that the Medical Specialities discipline will provide them and, thereafter, with these bases, the student will begin the semiotics and the workup on medical and surgical therapeutic.|

|Demonstration of the Syllabus Coherence with the Curricular Unit's Objectives:|
|The theoretical-practical class lasts for 2 hours per week; along with the Tutorial (7.5H) + Other (7.5H) will allow the|
study dde various diseases, particularly respiratory, digestive, genitourinary tract, hemolymphopoietic system, the
endocrine system, the nervous system and the articular system.
|Teaching Methodologies (Including Evaluation):|
|In the TP sessions students discuss with the teacher the scope of each symptoms and signs corresponding to each apparatus and system, making groups of three students and collecting the stories of each member of the group, with elucidation of all possible signs and symptoms. Make a thorough examination and present a well-articulated and well-structured story.|
At mid-term and the end of it there will be a moment of evaluation written on the matter so far discussed, and the 2nd test on the subject discussed in the second part of the semester.
The average of the course is the arithmetic average of two written assessments, and each will have the student who reach the minimum assessment ten values.Avaliaçao: avaliaçao continued but a theoretical prova. It will be made a second written test for some people who have not reached the 10 values na first prova. Discipline provides 4 ECTS.
|Demonstration of the Coherence between the Teaching Methodologies and the Learning Outcomes:|
|In this unit, the theoretical-practical component (TP -30h) aims to teach the patient's approach as a whole; therefore, it aims to provide students with the foundation for a proper assessment of patients, thus being able to predict the chances of success of the treatment procedure and prevent interference from pre-existing diseases with treatment to be carried out; t, will dominate the demonstration and participatory methods and training evaluation examples of clinical cases. In the will be performed activities on the use and research of scientific bibliography. The other 7.5 h (O) consist of sessions which aim to provide the student with the use and proper identification of academic resources.|
