Learning Outcomes of the Curricular Unit:
Students will be able to identify and address issues such as patients' resistance and misconceptions about health, disease, treatment and cure. Issues of prevention and optimization of client compliance also will be addressed

     3: Delays in development and psychological disorders of childhood
     4: Eating disorders
     5: Mood disorders
     6: Neuroses, psychoses and psychopathic
     7: Neuropsychological Frameworks (associated with neurological diseases)
3.Health Psychology:
     8: Stress
     9: Attitudes to illness and grieving processes
     10: Psychological techniques of pain management
     11: The facial expression of emotion
     12: Humanization of healthcare

In CP1 shows the main differences between the biomedical model and the biopsychosocial model. Present in an accessible and engaging way, the major schools and currents of the current Psychology: Psychodynamic, Systemic, Behavioral, Cognitive. Contextualize Psychology within the Health Sciences. Raising awareness of the fact that all the problematic Health contain a psychological dimension that can not be undervalued. Present level motor, cognitive, emotional, sexual, social and moral major milestones of normal psychological development.
In CP2 are some of the most frequent neurological and psychiatric disorders, characterized the psychological point of view. Lead to reflection on what is considered "normal" and what classifies as pathological in today's society. Allow students to learn to distinguish between psychotic sympto
Teaching Methodologies (Including Evaluation):
Theoretical-practical classes:
- Presentations using projections, explanations on the board, exemplifications, practical cases on video
- Summary and discussion of scientific papers
- Development of small exercises to be solved in the classroom, solving problems and doubts

Demonstration of the Coherence between the Teaching Methodologies and the Learning Outcomes:
Since the course consists of theoretical-practical and practical lessons, teaching methodologies are diverse. Thus, exposure of theories and key concepts of Applied Psychology should always be related to practical aspects of professional activity of the physical therapist. Through the interrogative method teachers can ensure the acquisition of the same concepts. Afterwards students can apply the learnings made in cases of clinical practice in small practical work and in independent research work.
