Students will be able to identify and address issues such as patients' resistance and misconceptions about health, disease, treatment and cure. Issues of prevention and optimization of client compliance also will be addressed

The Programatic Contents (PC) were delineated in terms of Learning Goals (LG) of the course: CP1 corresponds to LG1 CP2 corresponds to LG2 CP3 corresponds to LG3 In CP1 shows the main differences between the biomedical model and the biopsychosocial model. In CP2 are some of the most frequent neurological and psychiatric disorders, characterized the psychological point of view. Since the course consists of theoretical-practical and practical lessons, teaching methodologies are diverse. Thus, exposure of theories and key concepts of Applied Psychology should always be related to practical aspects of professional activity of the physical therapist. Through the interrogative method teachers can ensure the acquisition of the same concepts. Afterwards students can apply the learnings made in cases of clinical practice in small practical work and in independent research work.
