Learning Outcomes of the Curricular Unit:
Introduzir e desenvolver o conhecimento de técnicas de análise estatística, apresentando exemplos relevantes/situações realistas para ilustrar os conceitos, e desenvolver o espírito crítico e de análise dos resultados obtidos.
E ainda criar o interesse por entender como é que as doenças ocorrem, porque o fazem sob formas tão variadas, deixando presente as interrogações básicas dos estudos epidemiológicos.
Syllabus:
The contents of this course include a review of Fundamentals of Estatítica, tools inference, terms of use and interpretation of results, the design of a research project and the Data Analysis Project. Specifically, the deepened study of scientific methodology, process research, alternative research approaches, considering the questions on the survey and data processing and reporting and analysis.
Demonstration of the Syllabus Coherence with the Curricular Unit's Objectives:
By transmitting knowledge and encouraging discussion in the following subjects are going to be approached the methodologies of scientific investigation, the rules of an investigation project, and methodologies of inferential analyses of data, for the development of the capacity to elaborate the final graduation project
Teaching Methodologies (Including Evaluation):
Theoretical-practical: the issues addressed will be transmitted expository and / or in the form of discussion of themes format within groups of students with a final overall analysis for all students. These classes are aimed at the acquisition by students of theoretical and practical knowledge to support the methods of investigation of physiotherapy. The evaluation will be done by the public presentation of investigation project
Demonstration of the Coherence between the Teaching Methodologies and the Learning Outcomes:
The different themes and presentation of case studies in the classroom will be transmitted in an expository and /or discussion format in order to allow the acquisition by the student of theoretical and practical knowledge of methods of investigation of physiotherapy
