Learning Outcomes of the Curricular Unit:
The student should be able to integrate and relate the concepts learned and apply them to his intervention in mother and embrionary health, taking into account the different concepts. Deepen through theoretical and practical the acquired knowledge. Should also recognize, select and integrate the concepts learned in the clinic, in mother and enfant health and research practice, in a self-directed and autonomous way.

1. Embryology
2. Physiology of pregnancy.
3. Correct postures.
4. Preparation for childbirth
5. Relaxation techniques
Demonstration of the Syllabus Coherence with the Curricular Unit's Objectives:
Theoretical-practical: The introduction of basic theoretical and practical concepts of the techniques / strategies assessment and therapeutic methods used in Physiotherapy in Physiotherapy before birth. Care enables the student to develop the ability to understand the scientific basis of them. In this sense, it seeks to provide students with knowledge about embryology , physiology of pregnancy, correct postures, preparation for childbirth and relaxation techniques.
Teaching Methodologies (Including Evaluation):
Theoretical-practical: Includes expository and / or classes in discussion format with the presentation of case studies. The assessment comprises a written test and analytical work and research which evaluate the theoretical concepts and clinical reasoning applied in Physiotherapy Before birth .
Demonstration of the Coherence between the Teaching Methodologies and the Learning Outcomes:
Theoretical-practical: The different themes and presentation of case studies in the classroom will be transmitted in an expository and / or discussion format in order to allow the acquisition by the student of theoretical and practical knowledge about embryology , physiology of pregnancy, correct postures, preparation for childbirth and relaxation techniques.
