Demonstration of the Syllabus Coherence with the Curricular Unit's Objectives:
The program contents were selected and organized in an integrated way, with the purpose of facilitating the acquisition of knowledge and the development of skills and competences related to the nursing process centered on the sexual and reproductive health of the human person and the adaptation of the newborn to extra uterine life.
For all the themes developed, the student will be offered the opportunity to learn and actively reflect on the role of the general care nurse and the application of the nursing process in different clinical practice contexts.
Methodological strategies and programmatic content were developed to meet each of the objectives outlined.
Teaching Methodologies (Including Evaluation):
Students are invited to be personally involved in the learning process. Theoretical sessions, where the expository, interrogative and brainstorming methods predominate, alternate with theoretical-practical sessions, which also include small group work, case studies, film viewing and body work. In the sessions of laboratory practice will be used the demonstrative method.
It is a condition for the approval of the student the attendance of at least 50% of the classes.
There will be a written frequency (0 to 20 values). For discharge of the final exam, the student must also have minimum grade 9,5 values in 20.
Demonstration of the Coherence between the Teaching Methodologies and the Learning Outcomes:
In order to motivate the student and to involve him in the learning process, a multi-methodological approach to teaching was selected, continuously encouraging the student to identify in himself and in his/her familiar contexts real and current examples where each program content is applied. This personal involvement of the student in the learning process is carried out in order to motivate and promote a more sustainable acquisition of knowledge, skills and competences. With a view to the operationalization of nursing care and the acquisition of critical-reflexive attitudes, the demonstrative method was used for the development of manual/psychomotor skills, role play for the development of communication and diagnostic skills, and panel discussion, in the reflection of the integration of the theoretical contents in the laboratory practices.
