Learning Outcomes of the Curricular Unit:
(i) To know how to analyze and integrate psychosocial factors in the work analysis;
(ii Tto know how to organize, plan, and and implement psychosocial intervention strategies in working systems;
(iii) Develop the ability to integrate a psychosocial diagnosis in working systems.
Syllabus:
Work Psychosociology Approach: origins and guidelines. Contemporary Approach of Work Psychosociology: relations and evolutions. The study of human at the workplace: physical, psychosocial and organizational factors. From diagnosis to intervention. Health and wellbeing promotion at workplace: psychosocial risk factors. Psychosociology intervention: Methodologies and techniques of evaluation the psychosocial factors; Effects on the worker and in the in work organization.
Demonstration of the Syllabus Coherence with the Curricular Unit's Objectives:
1st unit - Syllabus contents focus on specific theoretical issues in the area of Psychosociology of Work, thus meeting the course goals, namely: to understand and integrate concepts, models and theories of the conceptual framework of Psychosociology of Work.
2st unit, 3nd unit - Syllabus contents focus on specific theoretical and practical issues and integration of psychosocial factors in the analysis of work activity allowing to integrate knowledge, abilities and skills to design, operate and evaluate the effects of work on health, safety and wellbeing, through technical and ethical conduct
4th unit - Syllabus contents focus on the practical application of concepts and processes allowing an integrate analysis of psychosociology factors and quality management systems; to show autonomy and responsibility in professional practice.
Teaching Methodologies (Including Evaluation):
Teaching methodology will include theoretical lecturing, research, reading and discussion of specific references, as well as thematic debates and critical reflection. Assessment will be continuous and based on a written test, a practical essay, an oral presentation and work discussion, as well as the execution of theoretical and practical tasks in the classroom.
Demonstration of the Coherence between the Teaching Methodologies and the Learning Outcomes:
1st unit - Theoretical exposition of contents related to this study area; presentation and handling of materials used in psychosociology of work; Individual and group debate of cases illustrating different problems and issues; Practical exercises aimed at demonstrating knowledge and skills in understanding the specificity of psychosociology of work. 2st unit, 3nd unit – Practical exposition of contents related to this study area; Presentation and handling of materials used in psychosociology of work; Individual and group debate of cases illustrating different problems of psychosociology of work. 4th unit - Theoretical and practical reflection; Articulation with different tools of quality management; Presentation of real cases; individual analysis and group discussion; show autonomy and responsibility in professional practice.
