Demonstration of the Syllabus Coherence with the Curricular Unit's Objectives:
Provide theoretical concepts on the implementation of a research project.
As a first step, and in the classroom will be taught to students theoretical knowledge about the paradigms of a research work. For this purpose it is intended to equip students of theoretical skills to develop your own research project which will take in the future to carry out an article.
All parameters of implementation of a research project will be discussed. The title to the bibliographic citation forms in accordance with the rules of Vancouver, through bibliographical revision, objectives, material and methods, discussion and conclusion.Define a research project where students apply the knowledge and competencies acquired rationally and proficient.
Teaching Methodologies (Including Evaluation):
THEORETICAL AND PRACTICAL SESSIONS. LECTURES.Teach the know-how. This curriculum unit is based on the student's performance evaluation in the acquisition of skills and this evaluation process involves the writing of a text in the form of a scientific paper that allows to assess their capacity the design and execution of the research project on which focuses the evaluation this Curricular unit. through bibliographical revision, objectives, material and methods, discussion and conclusion
Demonstration of the Coherence between the Teaching Methodologies and the Learning Outcomes:
Specific Skills :Know review literature review-In the classroom to use articles and simulate situations conducive to the design of their research to the specifics and formalities of writing this kind of literature. Learn to set goals: goal setting – In session presentation are listed and discussed the objectives of the work to implement: why, why, With what use? What are you going to bring back? Know define materials and methods definition of materials and methods – check, as it was defined the population, sample, timeline, equipment (s) and reference to commercial houses. Know define Results definition of the results – verify that the submission conforms to the requirements, required in the presentation of the same taking into account the qualities of the synthesis and concision. Be able to set the discussion definition of the Discussion – check if the student mastered the concepts and technique of writing; If it is able to carry out the framework of your data in relation with scientific literature consulted; If you recognize flaws and propose suggestions
