Learning Outcomes of the Curricular Unit:
The goal of this program of Gestos Básicos em Saúde is to assure that every student of the life sciences is capable to recognise the most frequent emergent conditions of daily life, giving them as well the basic skills on pre-hospital treatment and life support.
This discipline also aims to offer the students some basic knowledge about human health, promoting health as a whole.
Syllabus:
Topics: basic life support; diagnostic procedures; basic treatment procedures; procedures related with specific situations; STD; Universal Protection Measures; human relationships, communication techniques, ethics, deontology..

The programmatic content of this course aims to provide knowledge that will enable them to use by students in their future professional activity
