Syllabus:
The Clinical Practice of Nursing Care for Women II is based on the articulation of a set of knowledge to be mobilized and applied by the student in an integrated way during the clinical teaching period.
Demonstration of the Syllabus Coherence with the Curricular Unit's Objectives:
The curricular unit is developed in seminar hours and in clinical teaching. The different elements of this process (supervisor and teaching assistant) are responsible for providing relevant experiences that allow the transfer of theoretical knowledge to the practical context. The development of clinical teaching takes place in moments of presence in care units, under the guidance of a teaching assistant and supervised by a teacher, for the development of skills in the cognitive, technical-instrumental and social-relational domain, to people in critical situations. The gradual character of the development of competencies is mirrored in the different assessment grids of the study plan.
Teaching Methodologies (Including Evaluation):
Continuous assessment is based on assessment of clinical practice, according to the established model (70%), on the completion of an individual assignment (30%), with emphasis on critical and reflective analysis of situations of care practice and performance, enhanced in seminars. UFP's Pedagogical Regulations apply to all items.
Demonstration of the Coherence between the Teaching Methodologies and the Learning Outcomes:
Clinical practice allows students to gradually become aware of the different roles and skills that nurses should have in care provision. It is intended to promote the analysis, sharing and reflection on the practice of care or activities that promote learning within the specific focus of the person in critical condition through the dynamization of individual/group sessions, discussion of clinical cases, research guidance and preparation of papers. In group seminars, clinical cases are analyzed that allow for reflection on the uniqueness of each situation, developing in the student a critical and helping spirit.
