Learning Outcomes of the Curricular Unit:
a) I purchased a set of theoretical and practical knowledge about the main methods of observation and research, with emphasis on the method of testing, the method of inquiry in psychosocial and experimental method; b) Develop skills and basic skills assessment / research in psychology; c) Interpret reflexively how to manage / use of data collection instruments; d) Know how to use the method of psychosocial survey, buying generic competences in the field of theoretical and practical techniques of interview and questionnaire; e) Acquire knowledge about the main features of the methods correlational, experimental and comparative; f) Know how to select appropriate methods to implement the study of a particular issue; g) Know the specifics general collection, processing, and interpretation of data in psychology.

Demonstration of the Syllabus Coherence with the Curricular Unit's Objectives:
Objectives a) to d) more geared towards acquisition of knowledge bases of the method, very present in the units I and II. Objectives e) g) with a greater emphasis on aspects related to more specific and present among the contents of the unit III study designs. Unit 1 - The syllabus favor the deepening of knowledge and development of skills in scientific research: integrating knowledge, skills and capacity for ethical action; demonstrate knowledge and skills to plan a scientific investigation. Units 2 and 3 - The syllabus favor the deepening of knowledge and development of skills in the quantitative / qualitative scientific research: Planning an investigation and distinguish the main study designs
Teaching Methodologies (Including Evaluation):
Active method, alternating between an expository approach, and a more demonstrative way and another, more participatory. Two Written tests (50% + 50%)
Demonstration of the Coherence between the Teaching Methodologies and the Learning Outcomes:
Alternating teaching methodology will allow, at each lective unit, that the student acquires knowledge exposed by the profesor, discuss them and seek to enforce, by the most practical and demonstrative version, across the 3 lective units.
