Demonstration of the Syllabus Coherence with the Curricular Unit's Objectives:
Syllabus contents focus on specific theoretical issues in the area of applied descriptive statistics and inferential analysis to Psychology, thus enabling the fulfillment of the course objectives, specifically: to integrate methods, techniques, concepts, models, theories and knowledge in the area of applied research to psychology; to acquire, develop and deepen knowledge and skills to perform descriptive statistics methods and techniques; to acquire and develop knowledge and basic skills in research processes.
Teaching Methodologies (Including Evaluation):
Teaching methodology include theoretical lecturing of the theoretical basis of data analysis and each statistical test and also practical exercises os data analysis. Assessment will be continuous and based on two data analysis tests with SPSS.
Demonstration of the Coherence between the Teaching Methodologies and the Learning Outcomes:
Theoretical exposition of contents from Descriptive Statistics, probability and inference, and applications in Psychology; Solving practical exercises with the aim of demonstrating knowledge and skills in descriptive data analysis and inferential data analysis; to master the main techniques and methodologies used in Descriptive Statistics and Inferential Statistics.
