Learning Outcomes of the Curricular Unit:
Through this course it is intended that the students of this course assimilate the basic and introductory notions of what is and why there is a law.
Demonstrate ability to solve problems within the area of study, and to build and substantiate its own arguments
Know how to apply the knowledge and understanding acquired so as to show a professional approach to the work developed in its vocational area
Demonstrate the ability to collect, select and interpret relevant information, particularly in its area of study, to enable you to base the solutions you recommend and the judgments they issue, including in the analysis the relevant scientific and ethical social aspects
Syllabus:
1. The law as a social reality
2. General Considerations for Civil Law
3. Introduction to Civil Law. The civil law and other branches of law
4. The Civil Law Sources and its systematization
5. The systematization of the Civil Code. Detailed analysis of the subjects addressed in each of the Civil Code Books
6. The general principles of DC and some guidelines: the recognition of the person and of personal rights, recognition of legal personality, the principle of freedom of contract, the liability for the acts, the legal status of legal persons, private property , family, inheritance phenomenon, etc.
7. The concept of legal relationship and its structure
8. Typical and atypical contracts: drafting contracts
9. Judgments presentation of higher instance courts for discussion of the issues addressed.

Teaching unit: discipline is composed of several units Semester

Description: Presentation of legal phenomena in the context of the rules governing the legal relationships of the individual in the legal Business Scope: skills, addictions, etc ..
Objectives: These units are intended to introduce students to the discipline of nuclear information on legal relations in its various facets legal. It aims to promote critical reflection on institutional mechanisms and practical results.

Teaching Methodologies (Including Evaluation):
Classes will be theoretical-practical with dialogue and student interventions as part of learning. The subject will be taught taking into account the student's adaptation to legal language, with the resolution of practical cases.
There will be 2 assessment tests. The first test will deal with the subject taught and aims at adapting the student to legal terminology. The second test will cover all the material taught.
Each test is worth 50% of the final grade.
Demonstration of the Coherence between the Teaching Methodologies and the Learning Outcomes:
This module aims to introduce students to the academic area of civil law. To this end, it is proposed to present the main themes that the subject matter covers and explore in more detail: the origin of the legal relationship, relations between individuals; the obligation of securities, legal and business disabilities; the legal business addictions. Overall, it is intended that students understand the three dimensions - theoretical and applied ethics - the domain of the legal relationship.
