| 1. Presentation of fundamental concepts in ICT. 2. Principles and use of the Internet. Individual and group communication tools. Internet search tools. 3. Information Systems - Key concepts, 4. Legal and ethical principles of the use of ICT. The information society. 5. Organization of reports and scientific texts. 6. Methodology of scientific work. 7. Production of Presentations. | |||

| This course aims to explore a diversity of situations in terms of principles and use of the Internet, Information Systems, and the methodology of scientific work. It also aims to provide students with the proper guidance for academic context and also to ensure the acquisition of skills that enable lifelong learning in a self-oriented and autonomous way. | |||
| Teaching Methodologies (Including Evaluation): | |||
| Teaching-learning methodologies: 1. Lectures, to present theoretical frameworks of reference. 2. Participatory classes, with discussion of programmatic themes and examples. 3. Active classes, with exercises. 4. Autonomous work: in addition to attendance, the student is encouraged to consult bibliography, review programmatic content, do research, and solve exercises. Written test: 60% Final work with oral defense: 30% Class participation: 10% | |||

| The theoretical-practical presentations in charge of the teacher foster the acquisition of updated information on the topics studied. Also students’ presentations, in groups or individually, require critical reflection and help to create the awareness that we learn throughout life. | |||
