Learning Outcomes of the Curricular Unit:
Ability to elaborate a project study route: correct identification of the research contingencies, management of the same and clear definition of the central vs. secondary; planning of the actions to be carried out as well as the location and form of information collection. The UC aims to promote the ability to collect, select and interpret relevant information, particularly in its area of study, that enables them to base their solutions and the judgments they issue, including in analyzing the relevant scientific and ethical social aspects.
Syllabus:
1. Scientific Methodology: why the need for a method?
2. Delineation of a research project
2.1. The choice of topic selection and delimitation
3.1.recolha information; formulating questions
3.2.recolha information; drafting of a plan subject
3.4.recolha information; preparation of a action plan
Demonstration of the Syllabus Coherence with the Curricular Unit's Objectives:
Ability to prepare a study project: correct identification of the research contingencies (points 1 and 2), management of the same and clear definition of the central vs. secondary; planning of the actions to be carried out and the location and form of information collection (points 2.1, 2.2, 2.3 and 2.4). Students should therefore develop: the ability to collect, select and interpret relevant information, and develop skills that enable them to communicate information, ideas, problems and solutions, both to specialists and non-specialists.
Teaching Methodologies (Including Evaluation):
The tutorials with promotion of high degrees of interaction with students in order to promote discussion of the topics addressed, namely by reference to the specific situations of students' research; the evaluation consists in the presentation of the graduation prroject (100%). The evaluation will be based on the student's ability to apply the acquired knowledge and understanding, which should show a professional approach to the work developed in their vocational area.
Demonstration of the Coherence between the Teaching Methodologies and the Learning Outcomes:
The nature of the program is eminently practical which is consistent with the type of classes; the evaluation through phased presentation of the proposal of GP aims at the development of the capacities stated in the Objectives. Such a strategy of teaching / learning aims to develop in students the ability to solve problems within their area of study, and to constitute and substantiate their own arguments.
