Learning Outcomes of the Curricular Unit:
Develop structural skills of a theoretical and practical nature that allow you to know and apply discursive structures that can be used in the administrative area.
Syllabus:
1. Medical terminology: object, concept, term. 2. Importance and characteristics of medical terminology. 3. Medical terms and their constituents. 4. Types of medical terms. 5. Etymology of the constituents that make up the medical terms. 6. Medical terminology by human body systems. 7. Word formation processes. 8. Principles of courtesy in communication. 9. The Spelling Portuguese Agreement.
Demonstration of the Syllabus Coherence with the Curricular Unit's Objectives:
The generic themes related to the word and communication allow the answer to discursive questions in the administrative area, in particular in the relationship with users and with the rest of the health team. The theme linked to medical terminology allows for a more effective communication between the administrative technician and the rest of the health team in which he is inserted.
Teaching Methodologies (Including Evaluation):
Expository and demonstrative teaching methodologies will be used, with individual and group activities. The evaluation will include an individual written test and individual and group work.
Demonstration of the Coherence between the Teaching Methodologies and the Learning Outcomes:
Most of the themes will have to be addressed in an expository way. However, it is desirable that students can practice, which will happen after demonstration and through works and methods such as role-playing.
