Learning Outcomes of the Curricular Unit:
-Students should be able to demonstrate knowledge of different concepts and techniques relevant to the intervention of a physiotherapist in senescence.
Apply the acquired knowledge in new contexts and situations within different geriatric practices, integrating this knowledge in order to deal with more complex issues, and research.

Demonstration of the Syllabus Coherence with the Curricular Unit's Objectives:
-The incorporation of concepts such as Movement Analysis, new techniques of taping (Dynamic Tape and Bandages Functional), nutrition, motor skills as well as psychosocial aspects of the elderly, allows a better integration of the physical therapist in the area of senescence, enabling him to deal with more demanding and complex issues, both from a clinical and a professional perspective, making it increasingly autonomous rather than a technical and scientific perspective.
Teaching Methodologies (Including Evaluation):
-Includes expository and / or discussion format classes with the presentation of case studies along with the practice specific techniques for evaluation and treatment in physiotherapy.
The evaluation will be continuous through the written and practical mini-tests.
Demonstration of the Coherence between the Teaching Methodologies and the Learning Outcomes:
-The expository and / or discussion format classes with the presentation of case studies along with the practice specific techniques for evaluation and treatment in senescence physical therapy, allows to provide students with specific and essential to these physiotherapists, contributing to their increased clinical and scientific autonomy.
