Learning Outcomes of the Curricular Unit:
Provide students with the knowledge to know the terminology and theoretical concepts, enabling them to develop an effective reasoning and understand the procedures in Methods of Therapeutic Assessment and Therapeutic Exercise. The student at the end should be able to assess, identify and execute the different physiotherapy techniques associated with the neuromuscular and skeletal systems and apply them in different contexts and clinical cases. The student should know the indications and contraindications of each technique and formulate an appropriate reasoning in order to recognize them in a clinical context, formulate an adequate reasoning, assess and apply the learned techniques.

Demonstration of the Syllabus Coherence with the Curricular Unit's Objectives:
TP: Introduction to basic theoretical and practical concepts for the assessment and therapeutical intervention, aiming for the development of the ability to understand their scientific basis. In this sense, it seeks to provide the students with specific knowledge and terminology, relevant to the assessment and treatment of patients in the areas of the Methods of Therapeutic Assessment and Therapeutic Exercise. Procedures and development of clinical reports of patients. P: The practical demonstration and training of the various evaluation techniques referred in the Methods of Therapeutic Assessment and Therapeutic Exercise, allows them to develop technical execution skills and of different intervention strategies. The knowledge of the indications and contraindications of different assessment techniques and therapeutic approaches. E: The observational internship allows the student to develop the ability to further identify, in real context, the procedures learned.
Teaching Methodologies (Including Evaluation):
The final score is calculated taking into account 70% of the final practical and 30% of the final theoretical-practical component. TP: Includes expository and/or discussion format classes with the presentation of case studies. The assessment is comprised of two written exams (50% + 50%) where the terminology, theoretical concepts, and clinical reasoning applied in the Methods of Therapeutic Assessment and Therapeutic Exercise are evaluated. P: Includes demonstrative lessons and repeated practice of the assessment and physiotherapy treatment techniques used in the Therapeutic Methods of Assessment and Therapeutic Exercise practice. The assessment is continuous and comprised of two practical tests (50% + 50%) with clinical cases framed in different contexts, which accounts for 60% of the final grade. E: includes an observational internship that accounts for 10% of the final grade.
Demonstration of the Coherence between the Teaching Methodologies and the Learning Outcomes:
