Demonstration of the Syllabus Coherence with the Curricular Unit's Objectives:
Being this unit a discipline of first year, the integration of programmatic content with learning objectives is achieved through basic themes that underpin the psychological dimension in the practice of physiotherapy, and that functions as support for further learning. The contents include a theoretical aspect essential to understanding the individual in context and in specific condition of illness, but assume a practical dimension to the development of relevant skills such as communication skills and relational ones.
Teaching Methodologies (Including Evaluation):
The methodology will be based on theoretical exposure, in the realization of role playings and small group work. The evaluation will consider: 1. the realization of a frequency end of semester (which includes multiple-choice questions and questions of development) which will have a weighting of 60 in the final grade of the course unit. Obtaining a rating equal to or less than 6 values (minimum) implies, necessarily, the realization of examination of appeal at the end of the semester.2. the realization In small groups (2 to 3 students) of a written work (in the form of Poster and leaflet) to be presented and discussed in the classroom. This work will have a weighting of 40% on final note.
Demonstration of the Coherence between the Teaching Methodologies and the Learning Outcomes:
The lecture method holds most of the theoretical dimension of the goals, but it is complemented with a more practical dimension in this role-play and group work. These two methodologies facilitate contact with the communicative and relational dimension that should be a basic physiotherapist.
